These traditional goggles are handcrafted by and for the fisherfolk communities of Bantayan island, Philippines.

Yes these goggles work underwater! Made of recycled materials & an invasive tree species, the goggles allow divers to swim at low depths & catch seafoods for their families, creating a full cycle between the craft of art & art of life.

Designed by Pedro Illusorio, these goggles are a testament to his refined skill of wood carving, knot tying & plastic recycling, which has served his community for generations.

While these are traditionally used underwater, these goggles also function well for sand storms, extreme weather, or other climate conditions where eye cover is needed.
